Bristol - Weymouth
4th March 2007

This was a good line to visit on a Saturday whilst I lived in Reading as it was not to far for a days photography. The collection will in the main feature passenger turns but will also have a few freight trains that were also picked off in between the loco hauled. The route had some very good locations with the Limpley Stoke Valley being a favorite. This particular area has some glorious panoramic views of the line with the surrounding villages providing the back drop. The loco hauled only ran for a short period of time during the summer but a few shots were had with numerous visits being made over the years. As with other ares, visits stopped when I moved north but perhaps a return will happen again in the future.
